Niʻihau Shell Earrings
This hands-on workshop is limited to 7 participants and offers an introduction to the meticulous process of creating Niʻihau shell jewelry.
Participants will learn about:

Gathering shells from the beach

Sorting shells by shape, size, and color

Cleaning and removing sand from each shell

Drilling each shell to create specific patterns when sewn
Participants will create either a pair of Niʻihau shell earrings (standard size: 1-inch) or a bracelet to take home. Longer earring options (2-inch or 3-inch) are available for an additional fee.
Recommended for ages 12 and older.
