Niʻihau Shell Bracelet

This hands-on workshop is limited to 7 participants and offers an introduction to the meticulous process of creating Niʻihau shell jewelry.

 

Participants will learn about:

  • Gathering shells from the beach

  • Sorting shells by shape, size, and color

  • Cleaning and removing sand from each shell

  • Drilling each shell to create specific patterns when sewn

 

Participants will create a bracelet to take home. The additional supply fee is dependent on the length of the bracelet. Please see below.

 

Recommended Age: 16 and older
Duration: 4 hours

  • $350 (6-inch)

  • $400 (7-inch)

  • $450 (8-inch)​​
